Primary - Substitute / Part Time

We are seeking qualified applicants interested in substitute teaching duties for the Primary section of our school. A valid teaching qualification is required. This is a great way to become known in our community and a possible head-start for someone already locally based who is seeking a full-time role.

Primary - German / Full Time

We are currently seeking a qualified German teacher for our Primary section who is interested in working with international colleagues and students. A knowledge and understanding of the Primary Years Programme and previous teaching experience is preferred, but not required. The successful candidate will work in close collaboration with the German team in striving to meet the diverse needs of our school’s unique language learners in Grades 1-5.

Though not essential, knowledge of the local Berlin Education System, international school teaching experience, knowledge of IGCSE exams, and understanding of the IB Diploma Programme are desirable. The successful applicant will be expected to work with the Secondary German Team to develop units of study appropriate to the diverse needs of our international language learners. They will also work in close collaboration with the German team in striving to meet the diverse needs of our school’s unique language learners.

We are currently seeking to appoint a qualified teacher of English as an Additional Language (EAL). Though not essential, knowledge of the local Berlin Education System, international school teaching experience, knowledge of IGCSE exams, and understanding of the IB Diploma Programme are desirable. The successful applicant will be expected to work with the Secondary EAL Team to develop units of study appropriate to the diverse needs of our international language learners. Experience in developing/conceptualizing a school-wide language program and/or working as part of a language acquisition team would be valuable assets for applicants. The successful candidate will work in close collaboration with the Secondary teaching team in striving to meet the diverse needs of our school’s unique language learners.
