Art Teacher

Due to an upcoming maternity leave, we are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and talented teacher of Art to join an innovative department, ensuring high quality teaching, learning and student achievement. Our mission is to meet the needs of the Berlin and international community with a focus on language development in English and German. Achieving our mission in Art requires special qualities and committed teachers who can demonstrate:

  • The ability to work as a strong and effective team player
  • Perseverance, determination and resilience
  • An ability to teach in English and German (ability to teach in German is essential)
  • Passion for Art and a willingness to undergo continual professional development

Though not essential, knowledge of the local Berlin Education System, international school teaching experience, knowledge of IGCSE exams, and understanding of the IB Diploma Programme are desirable.  The post holder will be joining us at an exciting point in our development, where striving to meet the diverse needs of our school’s unique language learners is paramount.

Start Date:  November 2020 / Part Time (approximately 80%)

Primary

Lower Primary Educational Assistant 

We are currently seeking an experienced, reliable educational assistant who can flexibly support our students and Primary team. This role includes supporting teaching and learning in Grade 1 or 2 and providing after school supervision of students in Grades 1 – 5. The successful applicant will have the ability and the experience to successfully work with international students and communicate with a high level of effectiveness in English. Please note: candidates with relevant training/education and experience are preferred.

Start Date: August 2020
