Since 2003, the series of events “Tag der freien Schulen” (Day of Independent Schools) has been held annually in Berlin to strengthen cooperation between schools and their presence in public.

The Day of Independent Schools Berlin consists of several elements:
At an education market, independent schools present themselves together. In addition, the parents’ association of independent schools organises a panel discussion or an educational debate on a current educational policy topic together with the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Freier Schulen Berlin (AGFS). On site visits, various independent schools present their educational approach to the respective annual topic. The gala, at which a joint cultural programme is presented on stage of the Deutsches Theater, is a special highlight.

Students, parents and colleagues are cordially invited to this year’s Day of Independent Schools.
